In fact, psychology wasn't all that exciting. Firstly, with the demand from psychologists, not all are tip-top. Society is not ready to massively share its phobias and glitches with psychoanalysts and attend their sessions as often as to do a manicure. Few psychologists are fortunate enough to get a job as business trainers or employees of the Human Resources (personnel development) departments of corporations. The bulk of them go to work in schools and kindergartens - to engage in behavior correction of children. Secondly, psychological education is given to typical humanities students with great stress. There are many natural sciences here: psychophysiology, brain anatomy, practice in psychiatric hospitals.
