An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Manager to lead a dedicated, highly qualified and professional team in the Emergency Department on the Gold Coast.
The challenge of managing this specialised service requires an experienced Emergency Care trained Registered Nurse with extensive management experience. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and develop your team are essential. Management qualifications are desirable.
Essential Criteria:
Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
Extensive clinical skills and experience within the speciality
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Demonstrated management and decision making skills
Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resources
Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement program
Ability to apply research findings to clinical practice
Desirable:
Post graduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing
Previous Experience in a management position
Holding or working towards a tertiary management qualification
Sound computer skills in MS Office, including Excel
